This technique is a type of chiropractic technique that is used to gently pull the spine, taking pressure off of compressed tissues and nerves surrounding the spine. This can be done using a traction table and a trained chiropractor. A patient will lay on the traction table, and will be strapped in for safety.
Using an advanced computer system, a chiropractor can then stretch out the spine gently while the person is still laying down on the traction table.
